Home post #1: the master bedroom

Last time I practically promised to start a new series of posts and show you a few snaps of our master bedroom. I have chosen seven photographs, to be specific, and I hope you like my picks. So, first of all you can see the glass decorations on the window-sill (those sea shells originate from Crete island wherefrom I and E. collected them together in 2009), also some of my clothes (sidenote: I have a separate dressing room in addition to the bedroom dresser). Inside our bedroom closet mainly are my blouses, cardigans, jeans, knitwear, shirts, short and long sleeved tops, skirts, sleepwear, sportswear, vests, also belts, leggings, socks, tights and of course E's clothes as well.

Next there are my dressing table and the chair which is many many many (and so on...) decades old but my granddad restored this chair for me and even added some soft black fur. You probably already know how much I adore timeless vintage pieces with some attitude and therefore our bedroom furniture is antique. You can also get a clue of what's on my generously stuffed dressing table (accessories and fragrances only!). If you want me to, I can show my other beauty related goodies some other time, simply let me know! :) However, some of my Clinique products are already displayed on the natural wooden shelf once again made by my grandfather.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure we will overhaul our master bedroom in time but the beautiful furnishing will certainly remain the same. So, like I mentioned before, definitely let me know what your opinion and thoughts are because this only means more motivation for me.

ps. The last four photos were taken outside our house on a sunny winter morning. Enjoy! :)

  1. Looks so lovely <3 I'm especially jealous of your vanity / make up + jewellery table ! ^^ So nice. All of my jewellery are on top of this old sewing machine table. I've thought of putting a mirror on top of it,to have a place like yours, but the table is too high. Hah, maybe with some bar stool! :)

Really nice post! I love all the home inspiration..
Thanks for your comment too <3

  41. I totally forgotten to write what I promised you about Prague!
Shopping in Prague.. it looks like fine but not perfect as other people said. I wasn't in need for any clothes (and in fact didn't have much time for it) but we bought some shoes for us both in Leiser shop (four pairs, two of them by the local brand warm not not too much, the sole is thick that keeps feet from cold ground). Most of shops in Prague do tax free from 2000 czech crowns

The hotel is called the three crowns. Situated in about 15 min to the city center, Florenc bus station and the train station (which is more likely 10 minutes or less to be honest). perfect for traveling like Max and I do. As for hotel itself, it's fine and clean enough but nothing fancy

I've been meaning to say that your jewellery table inspired me to reorganize mine a bit :)
And about your much earlier suggestion to home posts. :) I do love my house, it's big enough for us two and going to right direction - considering the interior "design" and all the elements. :) But it still looks like a bomb exploded here, so no new home posts coming up anytime soon :D And I would also love to have something better to shoot it with, than my phone.

I hope you find something as lovely as my fur/knit vest. Maybe online? This one was on sale at H&M of my hometown, for 10 eur !

    Have a great day!
