Goodies from Choies

Hello again, my lovelies! Entirely two posts in one week, WOW, I'm surprising even myself here!
Therefore, without any further ado I want to showcase my first three goodies from spunky choies.com: shirt with contrast panel in baroque print (from a really cool brand named Elf Sack), the golden lion head crude necklace and wine red elastic high waist leggings (clickety-click on the specific item to see its original page and why not get it for yourself ;).

So, for one thing I finally got myself a proper peplum top! I like the material because it doesn't wrinkle at all (ironing - that's just not my thing) and of course I totally dig the surrealistic baroque print, plus the quality is really impressive!

Secondly, if you can see me, an ever-faithful silver lover wearing a chunky, utterly golden statement necklace then it simply MUST be a good one. Well and it really is such a stunner. And the tough lionhead element definitely makes it stand out even more.

Last but not least I picked those burgundy leggings because of the rich red wine colour (one of my favourites, especially for autumn and winter) and comfortable high waist (they had a few tiny redundant snippets of thread peeking out here and there but I just cut those off). Once again the material is pretty amazing (and thick!): it doesn't wrinkle and the knees haven't become even slightly loose after a whole week of constant wear at work. Oh and their upper part doesn't remind me of leggings at all so I'm not afraid to wear them as proper pants.

Anyway, I wore everything for the very first time last weekend which I, my fiancé and our little Elvis spent in Tartu. When it comes to that specific weekend I will definitely write another post about it since some pretty adorable photos and news are additionally waiting to be shared. And I photographed my shopping haul yesterday because I got some really, really exciting sale finds that weekend! But Spa vacation in northeastern Estonia, day 2 has to be created as well (almost 200 photos to choose from so quite a challenge for sure!).

All in all I have literally tons of stuff to share but right now I hope you enjoyed those two outfits featuring some wonderful items from Choies. By the way, have you, guys, ordered anything from choies.com? Share your wisdom! ;)
See you, sweeties, and a huge thank you to Choies for the awesome pieces! :)

  1. First off, yay for two posts in a week!! Onto the purchases, I am in love with that top!! It's better than your usual peplum, in my book. I love the sectioned off flares, not to mention the cute girly touch of the collar :) The wine red pants are perfect for fall-- you'll blend in with all the colorful changing leaves!

  3. Oh my gosh, you sexy lady you! Now this is a peplum top, it fits you to perfection and just shows of your slender frame and wow, that print! (I could go on and on about this top but I think you said it already. It's really a very special looking item, it looks designer to me and I think part of that is due to the perfect fit, it really does look like it was made just for you.) The green in it is beautiful on you as well, it really goes so nicely with your gorgeous blonde hair. (Which I love in the braid, you have such beautiful curly hair.) I also really love the burgundy leggings with the sleeveless vest, its a very sleek look. You have just been killing it with the looks lately!
I've been terrible about stopping by, I am so very sorry for that, I miss getting to talk to you. I'm glad to see that all is going well with you and winter hasn't made it's mark there yet! :)

  15. Two beautiful outfits in one post? You're spoiling your readers! I always think it's better late that never when trying a trend... sometimes you just have to wait for the perfect piece and your baroque peplum top is definitely exactly that :) And the colour of your pants in the second look is just perfect, they suit this warmer weather style but I know they will be equally beautiful with boots and a sweater when winter comes!

  22. I've always loved the Baroque trend. How was your experience shopping from Choies? I've been hesitant about ordering from them because of some bad reviews of their customer service.

    1. honestly I have nothing bad to say about their customer service but I do have only one experience with them and they sponsored all the stuff I ordered (they contacted me earlier to do so). I communicated with one specific person and she always answered when I had questions about my order. by the way, the quality of their goodies really surprised me! for example when I got earrings from Oasap then they changed colour (silver became ugly grey) afterwards and I just had to throw them away. thank god they were sponsored as well, haha.

    2. That's what I'm worried about (that my items will be of bad quality or be off-color). Glad to hear that this wasn't the case. I'd be glad to follow you! Thanks for the lovely comment on my blog.

Like I've mentioned to you before, you should definitely think about getting the card. But you might also email and ask Nouseva Myrsky if you could pay in a different way, I'm sure it's possible.

  43. Hey Maiken!
I'm so sorry it's been a while since I've visited your blog / responded to comments. I was on blogging holiday for some time - as long as felt right for me to come back. And now I'm here, slowly starting to get used to doing this hobby again * heh * Not going to blog non-stop or spend every day at computer, so it might take a while to get response - but I'm here and reading everything you have to say ♥ AWW I just love your new top and lion necklace .. We had very similar one on sale at Glitter last fall, loved it but it was sold out before I even realized! :) Combination of the first top and turquoise skirt is also really nice and fresh, that's one of my favorite colors! (Just noticed that I sometimes write US english sometimes UK :D weird.. "favourite" and "colours" would be the European way, I guess.)

Thanks for the recent comment by the way! I will reply to those under my own posts xx
